There have been more and more DPC get togethers (GTGs) over the past year than ever before, which has got me wondering... Who has met who? Has anyone travelled a long distance just for a GTG? Was anyone completely different in real life to their online persona? And of course, who has met the most DPCers?
To start the ball rolling, I'll go first!
Lessee... I've been to 6 GTGs on 2 continents (4 in the UK, 2 in the US), and I flew trans-atlantic just to go the latter two. As for who I've met, I think it'd be easier to list them all on my profile page :o)

| Well, since I'd have to fly over the Pacific Ocean to get near one, I'm sorry to say I haven't met anyone :-P |

Well, there are 24 DPCers in Hawaii, inc 5 members, so maybe you could organise a GTG over there? There must be some great scenery that you lot could wander around...

| I've only met a few so far, but then again I don't get out much. My list consists of crabappl3, Gordon, Sonifo, fstopopen, kennyt, RholderSr and his wife, and TomFoolery and his lovely new bride. I've spoken on the phone with blemt, ClubJuggle, and di53, and I chat regularly with the locals in DPC Fanatics chat. I hope to actually make it to a GTG someday! :) |

I have met many of the icelandic dpcers and the only non icelandic dpcer I have met is Terje |

I've been to 4 GTGs, went hiking with JPR, and met about 35 DPCers in less than a year. I also drove 3 hours after work one day to have dinner with Hopper, Prozac and Kosmikkreeper... and I'd do it again. ;-)

I'm pretty off-the-beaten-track here on Cape Cod, so I only see DPCers who make a special trip. So far that's RayEthier, TobyF, and Beetle. I keep open house for DPCers though; anyone who wants to truck by the cape, let me know.

oh - does it count if you met on on the internet a million years ago, then irl then a billion years later addicted them to dpc? Coz i'm that friend that tolde slightlyconfusedto get off his arse too ;)

Not quite! I know of one, possibly two other DPCers (who of course I've met) who have met more than me... I'm waiting for them to count their massive lists at the moment ;o)

Yes, but they all live on different islands (Oahu, mainly) except a few who live in Kona (the other side of THIS island) and that's a good day's worth of driving. |

Well ive met one DPCer now. but hes not on this site a lot anymore i dont think. his name is liv4him330 on here.
I met him on the DPC meet in Frankfurt Germany with a total of 4 participants where only 2 were form dpc and i brought a friend and he brought his girlfriend.

Yeah, but I'm sure there are plenty of us who wouldn't mind visiting you! Hawaii will sound especially nice in a couple months, when it's 10 degrees with snow up to our knees :)

I'm not so futunate.
I only met 3 very unknown DPC'ers:
Anastasia &Kiwiness Last Januari (They came here)
and
Librodo just a few weeks ago... (I went to him)
