What program do you guys use for Word Processing? Does my ibook come installed with one? Maybe Ive been missing it...

If textedit (under Applications) doesn't cut it you can try iWork.
Or Office X, which is what I use. Unfortunately it funds The Man, but it does the job.
Edit: Let's not forget openoffice, there's no need for anyone to pay for Office, openoffice has all the same tools, all the same capabilities, and is 100% compatible with Office. For Free.

yea i use Microsoft, there is OpenWord out there for Mac.
Which is exactly like Microsoft Word cept free and open source |

I just use TextEdit for simple word processing. It comes free with OS X, and it can open and save Word documents. |

AbiWord seems pretty good, though I don't use it anymore since I have iWork. AbiWord is also free.
I've also heard that Nisus Writer is good. It's not free ($70).
You should have also gotten a copy of AppleWorks. That has a word processor, too. |
