It seems to me that there are quite a few photos that don't meet the challenge by any stretch of the imagination.

Affluence for the poor is an insignificant item in the eye of they lucky few who indeed ARE affluent, you obviously don´t know what a poor man´s treasure could look like..

No, it's really not a matter of perspective - it is defined as:
af·flu·ence n. A plentiful supply of material goods; wealth. A great quantity; an abundance.
The definition does not imply a comparison to one less affluent or wealthy.
For my votes - if it don't look like wealth to me, it doesn't fit the challenge. :)

you're not giving people 2s and 3s are you Ken :P there's quite a bit of stuff in there that "doesn't fit the bill"... good luck to you...

Started at a 6.00 and hit 4.8.
