I'm not sure if this has already been brought up or not, but a quick search didn't return any hits.

I just purchased a Rebel XT and wanted to keep scratches, etc. off the LCD screen on the back. I grabbed a pack of PDA screen protectors that I had lying around, pulled a sheet out and cut it to fit the smaller screen. It's been on for a couple of days and you can't really tell it's there.

The sheets can usually be picked pretty cheap at the local office supply store or online.

I did the same thing with my 20D- used one of my ipaq's screen protectors cut down to size. Been on for a few months now and like you said - can't see it at all.

a friend picked up these //geek.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=3141614/ and gave me one since they were a couple different sizes on one sheet, I used it for a while but finally took it off. Product 99088 on //www.fellowes.com

same basic thing, a very good idea since my screen is already scratched.

If you'd bought a Nikon, you wouldn't have to do that as it comes with a plastic screen protector that clips over the screen...

But NOOOOO...had to buy a Canon...

*8^)

Just for that...I'll be rootin' for the Twins tonight...
