Very nice image, especially in B&W I imagine... could you post the original coloured one for comparison? I am curious to see what you posted instead of this one!

Briefly considered this file for metal..... an abstract detail, interesting for the pitted and scruffy surface - actually from a large commemorative bronze bell cast from metal salvaged from the USS Maine.

Spacepods appears to be a permmenent carnival ride or a conveyence to take one to a remote location..... where does it go?

That was going to be my entry but i pulled it around 9pm and by 9:30 my internet stopped working so that made the decision a lot easier.

Falc
All eye pictures seem to do well - could even have been fantasy.
May have marked it slightly down for lack of emphasis on metal.

This on the other hand would have seriously bombed

Didn't get this one until today, but was wondering how it would have done in the Metal challenge.

Man, this is frustrating ;) I try and be creative and get slaughtered. Maybe I should have left my original image alone. Please feel free to comment on this

Outake for the Metal Challenge.

Couldn't get what I wanted with basic editing on this - busy background no matter what angle. Pretty cool nonetheless (IMO). ;^)

Outtake is a piece of this

My outtake, not so sure about it now because I think it would score a little higher than the one I sent in. I'll learn from that

I found this too late for Construction and was tempted to enter it for Metal, but I was worried that the metal was too small and element of the composition, so I entered something else. I'm currently scoring just below 5.5, so I probably made the right decision.

Wanted to know how this would have done if I had been home to post it

Very nice! Probably would have been a strong 6. I'd given it a 7 or 8.

Put a cherry tomato on the end of the tines and use it for 'Leading Lines'! ;^)
