I'm a professional 3D animator working for a game compnay, but I have always been interested in photography. So I recently went through a bunch of my pics I've taken over the years. Now these are "snapshots" that I found had the most artistic look, so they were selected and tweaked in photoshop (i use photoshop all the time for work stuff, since 2.0 so I'm pretty fimilar with it, I didn't just brightness+contrast these puppies in other words). Let me know what you guys think about any of the images, and if I sohuld actually buy a REAL camera and start doing this more seriously ;-D

WOW those thumbnails on your website must be huge file sizes.
nice shots but try to reduce the file size of those thumbs |

wow, fast and good responses. As an "artist" everything I do sucks, so I really appreciate all your kind words. My current camera is being held together with a womans hair rubber band, so perhaps I need a new one anyway.
Thumbnails resized.....

Are you kidding?? You must know your work is good enough, and why in God's name would you want a real camera? You could shoot with a toilet roll and a rubber band and come up with a winning shot..you don't need us to tell you that... |

I think you have really great pictures... your photoshop work is really great to...
I was just thinking why buy a really camera if you are doing a great job with the one you own...
Really neat pictures you got... if those are snapshots you have a great eye for things.
Congrats on the nice work.

WOW guys, I really appreciate it. I guess by real camera I mean one with a lense so that I don't have to photoshop depth of field in the shots and things like that. ;-D |

I think you should choose a different site. With the quality and beauty of your images, none of the rest of us would stand a chance!
Welcome aboard and have a great time with the DPC crowd!

I wonder why they are loading so slow, I have to much other crap on that wite to move it to anotehr company/server hehe. I guess I can setup the photos on this site too.
All your kind words have inspired me to go search for more "jems" in all my photos. It's really fun working on these images in photoshop. I just wish I had them at a higher res, I doubt they would print with good quality anything larger than say 4x6 (is that even a real photo size....you can tell I'm a noob) |
