Show some of your sports/action pictures that you captured at exactly the right moment.

Great shot Harvey. I have a few that are not at exactly the right moment, but for a novice I was happy with them. :o)

This was a home run last year at the phillies game.

I think you've got the idea Laurie. The first and the sixth definitely caught a moment; you have some good "face" in those pics too, which also helps to make a great sports shot. How many more ribbons before you stop calling yourself a novice? ;)

buzzrock, yours made me laugh, caught the moment and face, good one.

These are all really great action captures! Here are a couple of shots from a sumo tournament I went to this week:

Just awesome shots! Here are a few old ones from film that I scanned. I appologize for the bad borders, but they are old, nieve attempts at photoshop.

This is Sammy sosa hitting #62 in 1998. Shot on my old A2e with a 70-200 3.5-5.6? Go figure? I actually made a few bux outta this one.

This one is of my brother racing quads. This was taken on film a few years back too. But it was such a beautiful fall day.

From an old challenge, but I still find it funny...

(Had more to do with 'Timing' than the challenge 'Time', which I had entered it in.)

Film, rather than digital, and this is not a great scan, but one of my favourite photos.
