I spent a lot of time this summer playing with slow shutterspeeds during the powwows my family attended. Tell me what you think.

I promise you, it's better than a little box with a red X in it. Let me try that again...Apologies if it's huge...

WRen,
I like this alot. Did you do any in color? The powwows are so colorful. I think that would translate well into the slow shutterspeed.

I have to admit to not getting much from this shot. Without the words, I would have no idea what the shot was of. (not that I consider knowing what it is a requirement to liking it)...

I think this may be just a tad TOO slow a speed for my taste. I've seen many shots with motion blur that I like a lot, but I prefer it to be a bit more subtle.

But that's just me.

What about this kind of motion blur?

I have to agree with Myqyl about not knowing what it is unless I read the description but nonetheless I find the shapes and streaks interesting. Without the description it looks like dancing lights and shapes.

Dancing lights in a valley between blue and red. The red looks like a face. The only thing that kills me in this picture is the bright spot in the lower right.
