I was wondering if any one amongyou has any exp. of shopping with these guys?
I stumbled apon there web site, and I think there prices are to good to be true...
and I was wondering If its fake site or if its the real deal...

| On B&H the D2x is 4,999.95 USD and on that site it is 2,020.58 USD. That's less than half price. It may be legit but every part of my body is saying I wouldnt dare take a chance. Something is just very odd. |

What exactly about that site makes it look legit? It appears to have been created with oscommerce, an open source e-commerce script that even I've set up before.
A quick google search brings up this forum thread. I'm sure there are others. |

I sed it LOOKS legit, I didnt say it was legit, thats why I posted this thread to be shure becous it sounded like a scam,.,.
so I just vanted to know if anyone has any experiense of dealing with them, becouse all the answers im getting, else where, is a bunch of opinions, and no experiense...
and how am I serpost to know anything a bout web design, im just a stupid photographer... |

| I wasn't trying to be insulting, just trying to point out that these days, pretty much anyone can have a decent looking website. Even fraudulent companies. If it sounds like a scam, the chances are pretty darn good that it is. |

The site does look legit. It is an Italian owned company out of Barletta and Napoli. Whether it is or not is another story. The reason it probably did not come up on Bizrate is that it is an Italian company.
Screw Bizrate anyway. I despise a company that attempts to install spyware on your computer everytime you access their site.
A search of the keywords AG., Elettronica, scam brought up nothing.
A search of just AG. Elettronicabrought up plenty, mostly in Italian, but also in German, Dutch and Swiss.
Procede with caution. |

Make sure you go to the last page and read the post from the guy who sent them 350 Euros by Western Union and who gets no answered emails almost a month after sending the money with no product!

Avoid like the PLAGUE, there is NO reason that they could sell something at less than 50% the price at a legit and high volume dealer like B & H. There is just NO way. That price is cheaper than the wholesale price Nikon gives its dealers.
Stay away.
