I am looking for an internship job for the summer(for school). I am looking in the Albany,ny, LA and NYC areas.. anyone know of a photographer or company looking for some extra help? I'd prefer a paid one if possible but i know they can be hard to come buy.. I have checked out craigslist.org and found some that I sent out letters to.. I was just wondering if anyone else had any ideas or opennings :)

your idea isnt such a bad one i like your approach better than mine i jus sent emails to people in my area however no one responded :( i think its because of what i wrote... any ideas of what i should write?

| I just wrote that Im gonna be a senior in college at sage of albany and that i was looking for an assistantship to further my studies. who i have worked with in the past and what my skills were.. i.e. digital photography, photoshop, raw files, stuff like that... i havent heard anything back yet either... thats why im still looking for my jobs.. i need it to graduate next year. :-p keep your fingers crossed that i find something.. and if you hear anything let me know! :) |

It's been a while since I read it but their is a tutorial on SportShooter.com written by a guy who used to judge internship applications for a newspaper. That would give some tips on how to go about applying.
