I have recently purchased a new PC and have since found that some of the thumbnails on DPChallenge don't show. If I click on the name of the photo it will open to the larger photo. But when I look at a page of photos such as my profile I have 3 of 8 that don't show. Can anyone help me with this problem. I think it must be in my security settings but I don't know where.
Thanks
Spiller

Try cleaning ur browser's cookies, internet temporary files and so.
That might work out!

I have this same problem on my work PC but on my lap top I can see all of the thumbnails. I have not been able to figure this out either. Anyone have any suggestions? :)

This is generally caused by some from of firewall or filtering program blocking the content. Check for these and set DPC as an allowed website -- or, if not sure how to do so, give more information and maybe we can help.

Many past threads on the subject ... if only the search worked.

Clear your temporary Intnernet files, and if you have any ad-blocking software, set it to allow content from DPChallenge.com.

I've got this problem too. It works OK at work but home, I have thumbnails which do not show - you only get the title. It's intermittent because sometime it affects the preview of photos that I've got in a challenge and at other times they display OK.

I've just found out what the problem was. I went into Norton Internet Security then to Status & Settings and turned off Ad Blocking. I can see all the thumbnails now.

Same for me. A month ago I got a new pc and could only see a few thumbnails here. Changed settings and all is well.

Oh yeah!! Now, can anybody explain why? I don;t really wish this to be turned off just so that it allows me to see pics!

Because ad-blocking software has no way to "see" a graphic, and assumes certain sizes are ads. If you can do so, set it to allow ads on DPChallenge.com.
