I just love this photo..and am just wondering if there is something to improve it? and any advice on shooting skys is appreciated!! Thanks!

Whats all that stuff floating around??? The sky is nice but looks a little off either contrast or white balance. Might I also suggest a tripod and a faster iso.

I think you might want to clone out what I can only guess are birds in the sky. They look like real bad sensor dust. That's a good start.

I think some sharpening with the unsharp mask would also help. I think the colors here are nice but as a photograph I think it's just a nice snapshot. |

I felt it was quite yellowish so I moved away from Yellow in Color Balance (PS7). I left a few birds in the sky to add a little more interest and sharpened them. Just my interpration. Maybe it looks a bit too purple now.

ok, Here I took out the birds and unsharp masked it...
And Jacko, I like yours as well, but I think it makes it a totally different picture...still a very nice one though.
The sky really was light blue with yellow/red clouds.
