How do I change my color profile on my D70? I need to see if it is in Adobe RGB or sRGB.
Can someone help?

Try page 59 in your manual. The dfault is option 1 which is sRGB.

If I could find my manual. My daughter seems to have misplaced it.

Travis, go to the Optimize Image menu and choose Custom. You'll see Color Mode listed there. |

sRGB is a limited range of colors that is used to standardize older monitors.
Adobe RGB is a much wider range of color tones and is FAR better for print use.
DONT ever shoot sRGB. Convert to sRGB for Web postings.
EDIT: In fact, to bounce off your quote. sRGB is the 64 color box of crayons. Adobe RGB is the 6400 color box.
