Yeah...I had a really hard time on this one....I live in a city with no fewer than 20 bridges over water in some form or another.....and I knew this would be tough competition...so narrowing it down to one shot was excruciating!

I'm not submitting because it seems as though a normal bridge won't work for this one...but it might...I'll abstain.

It seems we have a submission every two minutes or so...considering that there are still a couple of hours left...we may have well above 400 submissions...I suppose every single bridge in a major city must have been photographed by a DPC'er this past week.

Yuck ! I can feel the voter fatigue coming on.

400 bridges - it's going to be hard to separate yourself from the crowd. I get the feeling I have failed miserably in that last respect :).

It will be interesting to see how many bridges will be photographed more than once - If I was a gambling man I think the over/under on the brooklyn bridge would have to be about 5.

I'm sitting it out too.. I've decided that unless I have an image in that I truly like, early, that I won't be submitting to 300+ submission challenges anymore. Last minute shooting is not what I'm here for.

Having said that, good luck to everyone.. hopefully we'll see more than the generic "Golden Gate/Brooklyn/London/other famous" bridge shots.

My Light shot was a last minute submission - about 2:30a.m. of the day after the challenge, in UK time.

There were three other people photographing the bridge I shot this evening - all of them with 20Ds ... they didn't look familiar, but ... anyhow, they missed the shot that I got ;-)

this was my latest last minute'er...didn't do that bad...I actually think it should have done better, but I'm not complaining.
