$630 The price is for the body only. No lens included. 3 year EXTENDTED WARRANY!!! I will throw in a HIGH end CAMERA BAG as well! Like new in the box! I PAID $850 from B&H Photo in Spetember 04!!! Try it before you buy it! I'm sure you'll be impressed.Everything about the camera is perfect. Absoutly nothing wrong with it! Never dropped, never in the sand/dust, LCD screen was (and still is) always covered with transparent screen protector. Just curious, but what is it about the 75-300 you don't like and how could the 100-400 be very much of an improvement other then the IS? Both lenses are variable aperture wide ranging zooms with all the problems inherent with lenses possesing those features.

I bought that 75-300 IS USM last weekend...wish I had known because I could have saved $200 buying yours! Such is life...

BTW...I love that lens. I hope I don't become disenchanted with it as you have. What did you find is wrong with it that makes you need to upgrade?

The 100-400 is definitely quite superior optically to the 75-300. I must admit I've owned neither but opinion seems to be pretty clear-cut. The 100-400 has excellent performance for a "slow zoom", whereas the 75-300 is somewhat underwhelming, especially at the long end (>200mm).
