A couple of thoughts I had regarding the forums:
Often I want to make a post that doesn't really fit into any of the folders here. It might be related to photography and not the site, but it's not really a question so I can't put it in Q&A. Or, it might be off-topic entirely but something I feel may be of interest to the groups. I'd like to see a new forum section for these kinds of posts. I humbly suggest the name of Kermi's Cafe.
Secondly, there are enough young DPChallenge users that it might be nice to have a folder dedicated to them. I'm not, of course, suggesting that young users be excluded from the other folders, but it would give our younger users an easy way to get to know each other.
Thoughts? -Terry

I've had that problem too Terry. I think the name of the forum you've chosen is great! lol
Since I'm trying to decide if I want to make an account for my child...I think it would be great to have a folder dedicated to them. I could then make it a rule that she only use that folder. Or maybe Drew and Langdon could start ANOTHER site called... Young DPC...for kids 13 and younger. Like they have time for that, lol ..but I don't think it's a bad idea necessarily.
great idea Terry |

I'm also curious to hear how the youngers users feel about a folder dedicated to them. Would you rather have such a folder, or not?

Define young. lol. I appreciate that there is such a wide variety of ages on here. I had the problem the other day about chosing a forum to post my blah blah blah. LOL Not really a question, not really a suggestion, nothing to do with the current challenge. you know what I mean. I also notice that when a thread is started, it goes with that for awhile, and then ends up in chit chat. That's great. A chit chat board would be cool. Then I would have someplace to complain about my sore butt from sitting here commenting for the last 5 days. LOL. Almost done though only about 30 left. I was worried about my childhood challenge, but the weather made up my mind for me. No going outside in this rain. ANyway, I'm chit chatting. Time to move to Kermi's cafe. lol. who's Kermi anyway?

HB, I feel your pain. Bed, Bath & Beyond has great pillows specifically for chair seats placed in front of computer monitors. Or is it Linens 'n Things? Take a break w/ some cognac.

I think chit chat is best left for chat sites(instant messenger or aol or something)...i think most here are looking for something relevent to photography....not that i'm against the occasional bitch moan complain thing at all!

LOL... Well, for example... I have a post that I'm working on about going out shooting pictures with my best friend and fellow DPChallenger yesterday. I want to share it but there's not folder it really fits in.

sorry for the confusion club juggle...my response was not based on your comment but another... your idea for young dpc'ers is good but i think the problem they were having was proving age..and the danger to youngsters to identify them as such. I could be wrong, i just remember some conversations about it. on your other...maybe a none of the above forum section?

I think a section called "Photo Experiences" would be a good place to post things like this... post links to photo outings and possibly for the critique posts as well... :)
