Hello!
I was wondering if anyone had a link or could post some steps to building a drop down menu for a navigation bar in dreameaver 4?

okay... on the insert tab select form objects there's an option there ta add a list/menu a drop down menu should appear after yah click on it... now on the properties bar select list values, type the values on the window that'll pop up and press "+" i'll write the html code if yah still have problems.

okay, that didnt work. I think I need steps for dw 4. What is that function called? Is it called a drop down menu/window or what?

this code should work regardless of what editor you use... just copy and paste the code and you're done. now just change "option one... two... three" to whatever yah want your drop down menu to be.

cool.
dunno much about code as I work best in the visual interface. I can put this anywhere on the page? How can I change stuff arount for the other na bar items.
I.E

I have:

FORUMS ARTS EVENT
v race vpoetry vthis month
vGender vstories vnext month
vwefalre vfotos vfull calendar

something like that but not exactly
(I wnat each to have a drop down menu)

is this what yah wanted? now yah need to paste it in the code view. in dreamweaver select code view... delete everything yah see there and paste my code. now go back to design view and edit it as you wish.

way cool I learned something new! thanks much. But I really wanna do something different I just dont know what its called. you the nav bar on top of each page on dpc. when you put the mouse over let's say home a bunch of stuff drops down. thats what I wanna do.
I'm really daft at this stuff but am a fast learner. I've been looking for a tute online but cant find it.

know how ta use flash? i don't think i know how ta do it using any other program. i don't know where yah can find your tute either. i'd suggest yah google it but probably already have done that.

yep I know how to use flash. but how can I get each piece to be a link to a different page?
maybe I dont know how to use flash. I can do a web animation tho, is that the same? It turned out to be a gif file. Imade won for the home page of the site I am designing.
