| Thanks to a very generous husband, I am looking to get a new d20 for valentines day. B&H and Amazon I know, anyplace else people have found reliable? For someone from Canada is there any rebates? |

b&h usually has equal or slightly better prices than adorama. both are reputable but i have heard various people complain about pushy sales tactics at adorama.

You could try Dell. I posted a 10% off coupon code in another thread, though I think it just expired. They do that every so often though, so I've bought my last three cameras from them. I just used one to buy the Canon 10-22mm lens for $719. Shipping is free in the US anyway.
Look for coupon codes at: //www.xpbargains.com/
Friday Dell often has a one day sale too.
If your husband is that generous, have him buy me one too ;)

Both items also have various rebates attached to them, and both are eligible for free Super-Saver Shipping.
Amazon also currently has a promotion through January 16 where orders over $1000 earn a $150 promotional certificate that can be applied to a future Amazon purchase (there are some restrictions).

I was very pleased with //www.canogacamera.com, out of Canoga Park, CA. I understand that they have been in business at that location since 1959.
You should check out any online vendor at //www.resellerratings.com.

We used to shop at Canoga Camera back in the 1970's and they were wonderful. Very professional and knowledgeable. This is bricks-and-mortar shopping... I'm glad to hear they're still alive and kicking.

| The cheapest retailers I know of (with good ratings) are ibuydigital.com and digitalmegastore.com. Each of them has the 20D with kit lens for about USD $1345. The price varies daily- yesterday, I ordered a 20D without kit lens for less than $1300 shipped from ibuydigital (alas, it was for my office). I don't know if they ship to Canada, but it's probably worth checking. Happy shopping! |

| Thanks everyone! I ordered the 20D yesterday from B&H. The price was good (1399.95) plus shipping,(40.00 to Canada) so fairly close to the best deals and I have dealt with B&H before. |
