Hey Everyone,

I am new user to this site as well as digital photography.. I read somewhere on this site in the forums where they were talking about Polarization filters and someone was nice enough to include a link that explained all about it. The only thing I remember out the link/url was that it was on a .edu domain. Does anyone know this link or a site where I can learn more about Polarization filters?

Thanks everyone! (Btw, most forums have a search function.. I could not find one here...)

There is a rather comprehensive tutorial/link at DPfwiw.

My understanding is that the search function for the forums is under development while they work on the photo printing options, etc. It should be available in the near future.

By the way, welcome to the site.

Hi Joel, welcome to your new obsession! I don't know what link you previously saw but this is my favorite. I learned so much from the information on these pages: NaturePhotography.com

I use a circular polarizer every time I shoot outdoors because it makes a world of difference.

Have fun!
