I took these photos today...I would really love to hear your thoughts as to which you prefer and what could have improved them...
Thanks!
I can't wait to get these in print...here's a 100% crop of the 1st one:

I like the 100% crop (the last one) the best, I think it shows the subject in more detail. |

Well, those are the limits of the way we view photos on this site...the 100% crop is what you would see if you had a print of any of the above three photos...I only posted it so you could see the detail! |

OK, ...I just responded, but in typing my response, understood.
I was going to say that I liked the 100% crop too. I thought the 100% was actually the orginal photo, and the three selections were crops of it, (though admittedly I was having a hard time finding the flora in the "original"). In looking more closely, I think you have three photos, one of which you have selected a small portion of so that you could show what the detail would look like if we were able to view them at 100%. Am I right?
If so, I think the first three will be considerably better than I'd originally found them. I like the detail of the twig encased in the ice. It would be nice to be able to see that much detail in the entire shot. It seems like it's there, but the small display size doesn't allow these pieces to be shown to their best advantage. Darn for that.
Nice work.
