Almost Amazing Wild Dolphin Picture

This an actual wild dolphin. It was not taken at Sea World or any place like that. Occasionally dolphins come into the Sarasota Bay here in Florida, and this one came in to feed today. I was lucky enough to be there.

I wish the picture could have been better, but it's still pretty cool.

Great! Reminds me of the time I was in Bonita Springs, I was about 10 yrs old & my parents were looking at condos on the beach- and there were 2 dolphins jumping in & out of the waves following the shoreline. I love dolphins, so I started running along the shoreline trying to get their attention, wish I had a camera back then! Great capture of their activity!

A wider aperture and/or faster shutter speed would have stopped the action a little better. Glad you shared those. I have fond memories of Sarasota.

Thanks. Yeah, I know, I wasn't prepared enough. Plus it happens so fast, you never know when and where he'll surface. Next time I hope I get it right. This is the first time I saw one feed like that there. Usually they just swim around. Kind of like in the other picture.
