I'm seriously considering buying a membership to dpchallenge, but I'm not sure there is any point until January unless it expires a year from when you purchase it. I'm pretty sure its a full year whenever you purchase it but I just wanted to make sure.

Nope, it'll expire a year from when you bought it.

No worries, it's a full year. It expires from the date that you pay for your membership.

So join, make it an early XMAS present to yourself.

Your membership expires one year [if you choose the yearly option] to the date you become a member. As a new member that was a long time registered user I would recommend that you become a member as soon as possible. It would make a wonderful holiday gift to yourself. Becoming a member was the best thing I did at dpc. You will enjoy every minute of it, well almost every minute of it. That update button can be addictive!
