My Dimage 7hi has too much noise in its pics even with the ISO setting of 100. So, I'm in the market for purchasing a noise filter for the Mac OS X and Windows XP. If forced to choose between OS X and XP, I must go with Mac OS X. ;-)
So, any help in this quest would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
-Laurie

if you are on a mac, do you have virtual PC? if so, you might try the free NeatImage from www.neatimage.com. Works wonders.

Thanks!! Neatimage looks like a great option, but it doesn't support Mac OS X.
Are there any other options that supports Mac OS X?
Thanks,
Laurie |

Ben, I agree NeatImage is VERY slow. In cases where I really need noise filtration though, I consistently come up with better results from NeatImage than from the very limited noise filtration options in PS 7.0
I'm definitely open to suggestions from others on faster options that provide top-notch results. |

It's too bad that neatimage isn't supported in OS X. :-( Does anyone have a suggestion on an OS X solution?
Thanks,
