Wow, I just have to say that I stumbled upon this site maybe a week ago, and I am very impressed! I can't believe all the time and energy that it takes to run a site of this magnitude and caliber, and the fact that it is free is unbelievable. I am particularly impressed by the encouraging comments in most of the posts and individual picture comments. I would say that is very unusual from my limited experience with forums. I know little about my new camera, and even less about composition and technical aspects, but I can see that I've found the right site.
Just a "Newbie" saying thanks.

| Welcome aboard. I am relatively new to this site and also very impressed with it. I hope you will learn as much as I have since I stopped by. Only bad part, it's also very addictive. |

I've only been here for 5 challenges myself. I feel the same way you do about this site. It's the most happy and helpful place I've found on the net and by attracting more people like you we will keep it that way. Welcome. I'm looking forward to seeing your work progress.

I too have only stumbled upon this site in the past 3 weeks... AMAZING site... but it WILL NOT be free for a long time... bandwith issues are huge, and no sponsors as of yet to pay for it

This is NOT true. Once again, FREE DPChallenge is not going anywhere. You'll get at least everything you're getting now FREE for as long as the site exists. Membership costs are ONLY added features for those who want them. That make sense?
