I just told off my director and do I feel great. Funny thing is I met him at a local strip joint and layed into him even tho I'm supposed to be on holidays. Now my question becomes is why is the director of operations at a strip joint??? considering he's in charge of 8000 people. anyways noting to reply to just wanted to get it off my chest, that @#$%^& prick.

Does that mean that if you would have a promotion and be in charge of a lot of people, you would stop hanging out in strip joints?... I don't really get it...

Maybe he wanted to see some boobies. Just cause he's a big wig, doesn't take away his right to see boobies! |

If and when i go to see boobies, i don't want no body coming over an telling me off. It might distract me and i would miss a boobie (or 2).

While everyone else is asking why shouldn't he be at a strip club my question is what is he director of operations of? Is it a moral issue that he was there considering his job? If he is a D.O.O for a retail chain no reason to rant but if he is a D.O.O. in a business that deals with kids then you should be ranting. So what is the real reason? |

Most of us have two lives.... a professional one and a personnal one.
To me, what someone does during his/her free time (without breaking the law..) is no one elses business.

I feel a biiiiiiiiiiiiig fight coming on!!! :D
I mean please. If he is a childcare provider he shouldn't go to strip clubs? Teacher maybe and he has to walk a very straight and narrow Christian line? F the BS man. He didn't do anything illegal. Nobody's suggesting he's paying for sex in the backroom. He doesn't have to be 'deviant' to go to a club. Geez.

Excuse me but we live in a society that took a man and condemed him for being in a XXX movie theater. His career was totally destroyed because he was an actor on a kids show. So if we are going to be that stupid as a society and ruin a man's career cause he is an actor on a kid's show don't you think as a society there is going to be an even bigger issue if it was a teacher?
I personally don't feel that there is any wrong doing going into a strip club or a xxx movie theater...I'm only trying to find out is there a real reason for the ranting about the D.O.O. being there. Could it be a society issue or is it just a OMG why did I run into you here kinda thing.

PeeWee Herman was arrested. Was this guy arrested? I mean sure, if he was arrested for appreciating himself in public, I could see how that would look bad for the company. Otherwise...eh. |

I think as a society we're a bunch of under-educated, unintellectual idiots.
Next question?

I'm by NO means an advocate of porn, personally I think it should be banned to a galaxy far far away, but as of now it's not illegal and people have their rights.
Edit: Just read the post above, edited my Peewee comments.

I strongly recommend watching "The people vs. Larry Flynt". He might might be guilty of bad taste, but he really fought for OUR rights (Okay, most of you anyways, I'm Canadian!). His lawyer, played by Edward Norton really gives a speech that makes you think twice about comdemning pornography. If this goes, what's next? What about the beautiful nude pictures posted on this site?
I totally agree with DPC for having guidelines and rules. This community is open to people of all ages and I think it should be everybody's concern what's posted on this site. But, I still like having the option and the right to view materiel that might be considered offensive by others. As long as nobody gets wrongfully exploited in the process (child pornography for exemple) but if the models/actors/participants are consenting adults... I don't see any reason to condemn it.
More thoughts on the issue...
The story of Paul Reuben (Pee Wee Herman) was mentionned... Let's take this story and apply my reasoning mentionned above. Yes the guy was a comedian who's character happened to appeal to children (before the playhouse, Pee-Wee could be seen in Cheech and Chong movies). But that night where he was caught masturbating (some of you might not like the word, yet this is the real one that can be looked up in the dictionnary - kids included) he was not performing for the kids. Okay, masturbating in public is illegal... but who is that going to bother inside an X-rated theater? Well, maybe the guy in charge of maintenance. Another movie where such case is dealt with is Lenny with Dustin Hoffman wich is a movie about comedian Lenny Bruce and his career (trials and fight for freedom of speech), anyways, one of the first arrest was made after he had talked about the story of homosexual teachers that were caught... well doing it together, at night, far from the school in question, while the kids were at home probably sleeping. They were fired for that unique reason (regardless how well they taught kids to read or write). All teachers must have sex, yet they don't necessarely teach it to their students. I think your personnal life should not interfere with your professional life, as long as you can keep it seperate. It's a shame that some people will link both together just because they have different values or at least a diferent interpretations of those values.

Pee Wee Herman wasn't the only actor on a kids show. There was one before him also and his show was cancelled for merely looking at porn in a magazine. |
