I need to get caught up. I haven't had time to submit any new photos or view anyone else's because all my spare time has been taken up by bonsai. It's our club's show this weekend. Hopefully I'll have more time for DPC next week.

Well, that was a fun 2 weeks and still just over 2 weeks to go :) Square crop as a side challenge title sounded really easy however, it has taught me to think more about composition prior to clicking the shutter even though (other than my phone) I'll be cropping a portion of the image out.

| I had good intention for posting and commenting, however, life sometimes gets in the way. Hopefully can still get some commenting done and maybe a few images posted. I always enjoy side challenges. Thank you. |

| I am going to try to post something before the end of the month. I am using film cameras for now and have just figured out how to scan the film so all of mine will be taken with either the Bronica 645 (cropped), the Zero 2000 pinhole or the Holga toy camera. All will be film scanned to digital. |

Didn't post yesterday and (more to the point) I didn't comment either. OK, we have all suffered from toothache before but I've never felt so bad as I did yesterday.
No dentist on the island until next Wednesday and was taken to the doctors. Given a course of antibiotocs and told to dive into my stash of painkillers. Things are better today however my vision is still blurred from my swollen face/eyes. Forgive any blurry pictures I post lol.
I promise to catch up when feeling better :) |

i just noticed the accompanying thread .. side challenges - who wants them
of course i've missed this square crop boat .. but i'm hoping to catch the next side challenge ..
i absolutely loved the them back in the day ..
looking forward to seeing what ppl have in mind for december .. xx |

just wanted to add to what i said a little while ago ..
that what i loved about the side challenges was how much it improved my photographic skills .. how it turned a keen interest into a raging obsession .. how connecting with other like minded ppl was life changing ... and how inspired i was seeing some of the amazing photos ppl posted .. and telling them so .. :) |

My side challenge participation far exceeded my challenge participation and I can't imagine how many hours I've spent on them. Some less than others *cough* flowers *cough*. :P
