Hey ya'll, in the market for one of these?
It is just amazing what you can buy these days. But the funny stuff is in reading the reviews, especially the 2nd one.
Now, before some of you go and get your feathers ruffled, I am sure that there is a need for such devices and I am not in any way making fun of anyone who might require one. It just struck my funny bone in an odd way. Plus, I just can't help but picture some moron sitting in their living room, shocking themselves silly just to 'test it out'.

I hope I don't ever need one, but it rubbs my funnybone also.

Actually you cannot shock yourself, it is an automated device that will only deliver a shock if it records an abnormal heart rythm. Only a few specific rythms will trigger it. So even morons will most likely be safe using it

Yeah, it will only shock ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia. On yeah, they do come in handy at times.
