Wow! that's a great list of reasons not to elect GW president.
I'd like to add two more under the heading of terrorism:
1. Bush has not investigated or solved the cases of the numerous anthrax attacks that were perpetrated against the American people soon after 9/11.
2. Bush has not investigated or solved the cases of the numerous mailbox bombings that occurred after the 9/11 attacks.
Thanks for posting, MM. |

Soon after Kerry was awarded the Silver Star, he used an obscure Navy regulation to leave Vietnam and his crew before completing his tour of duty. After returning home, he quit the Navy early and changed the color of his politics to become a leader of VVAW. Kerry wasted no time organizing opposition in the United States against the efforts of his former buddies still ducking communist bullets back in Vietnam.
Kerry participated in the so-called Winter Soldier Investigation where his fellow protesters accused his fellow GIs of war crimes.Kerry's betrayal of American prisoners of war, his blatant disrespect for the families of our missing in action, Vietnam veterans, the military, his support for communist Vietnam and his waffling over the issue of use of force in Iraq proves he is a self promoting Chameleon Senator who cannot be relied on to protect the best interests of the United States.
Although Kerry voted to support military intervention in Iraq he is now claiming that he only approved the threat of force by the United States.
The Constitution for the United States of America declares: "The President shall be Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the militia of the several States when called into the actual service of the United States; he may require the opinion, in writing, of the principal officer in each of the executive departments, upon any subject relating to the duties of their respective offices, and he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment."
In 1971, the pro-Hanoi anti-war group that Kerry was principal leader and spokesman of, debated and voted down a plot to assassinate U.S. Senators who supported the Vietnam War. Numerous media outlets claim witnesses and FBI documents conclusively place Kerry at that November 1971 meeting of Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) in Kansas City.
The revelation that VVAW debated killing members of Congress is not a new one. The plot was reported in Gerald Nicosia's 2001 book, Home To War. Nicosia wrote that one of the key leaders of the organization, former Marine Scott Camil, "proposed the assassination of the most hard-core conservative members of Congress, as well as any other powerful, intractable opponents of the antiwar movement."
Was Kerry obligated to report the VVAW assassination plot to authorities???
Knowing about such a plot and not reporting it is a crime.
Yea....I want someone like HIM running MY country...

How do you know that Kerry was aware of such a plot, if it actually existed? |

Read the list Sheila and don̢۪t listen to TV.
I wasn̢۪t going to indulge but wtf.. What you call Kerry betraying his fellow veterans I call Kerry fighting to end the war so his fellow veterans can come home. Had the US learned from its mistakes, we would not be in Iraq now, repeating a horrible situation that has lead to more torturing and horror.

Yeah Sheila, don't you know that only the sources of information that Oly and Mad post are reliable. All others, including all media sources, are just spewing right wing propaganda and should be ignored.

While Kerry was IN Vietnam, Bush was drinking and snorting at home. So every time a Pro-Bush brings up Vietname, it is good to remind them. :)

I'm pretty sure Kerry is the only person bringing up Vietnam, time after time after time after time...
Bush has respected his service, depite the MANY questionable events or happenings. Kerry on the other hand, has basically said that anyone serving in the national guard was a POS and a draft dodger, something he earlier said was OK and should be forgiven anyway. |

After digging up the article, the all the people interviewed seemed to be glad or at ease that they were there.
Police really are good people, they are there to protect you not hurt you, despite what they try and teach people up in san fran... |

I believe we have enough threads on this topic (or very similar), please choose one of those instead of starting a new one. Thank you. |
