Just wondering if a picture is removed temporilly from voting if there is a request for validation. I voted, it says i voted 64 of 69 images. Are they dq̢۪d already or just being reviewed and because of it, they aren̢۪t currently visible to voters/ |

No, they are not removed from the voting pool while validation is pending.
And, as a reminder to voters, people are supposed to vote every entry as if it is legal, even if they suspect it isn't. |

Shallow DOF VIII says on the home page that there are 69 images awaiting my vote. When I go to vote, I find that I may vote on 65 images, plus my own image is "below the line" and I can't vote on that. That makes a total of 66 images in the voting pool that I can see, and yet it says in bold type that I have voted on "0 of 69 images" in this challenge. Only one image in that challenge is undergoing review right now, and I can see that image on my voting page, waiting for me to assign it a score.
Whilst this behavior is certainly quirky, even perturbing, it's been happening for a long time. |

This has been happening a lot. I always vote on 100% of the entries. I already voted on all available challenges and it says I voted on 98%-98%-94% on the 3 current challenges.
Something is wrong. |

I have apparently rated 38/39, 50/51 and 65/69 in the challenges currently in voting. The first two can be accounted for by my own entries, but what about the 65/69? All challenges request me to finish voting. |

I thought it was due to self DQs? |

Not in this case; there have not been any. |

It's a phenomenon that's been occurring for quite some time. I don't think Langdon ever found a cause for it. It seems to be no reason for alarm, anyway. |
