I been trying lots with this one, beacause there's something I like about it, but I can't seem to bring it out... What should I try? |

I think the colours in this pic are great, but it only really works when sized down to 640 pixels high.
At the image's full size, the 'soft focus' makes my head spin.
And what are the darker spots dotted around the pic? |

Not trying to be mean. There are just some times you gotta know when post processing will help a photo and when it's a good thing to reshoot. There is a lot of motion blur in the picture plus it looks overexposed. Your best bet is to not spend time processing it. Go out and take another one. Use a tripod. Experiment with different settings. Take a flashlight with you and use it to get a little more light on the subject. Play around with your techniques and then, when you have a photograph that's good from the start, go to ps and play around. Sorry if this hurts your feelings. |

Hmm, good question. The original has shadows and leaves, I think those ran out when I blurred the background. |

pcody, it doesn't hurt my feelings. I wouldn't post here if I didn't want your opinions, it's just that I can't go back there. |

Sorry you can't go back. I know it hurts when you want something to turn out and you just can't get it to be what you want it to be. I've learned to delete them really fast so I won't be tempted to try saving them. |
