These are all really good, but that third one is fantastic. You've got the 2nd rider's head & numbers captured perfectly behind the lead rider. Awesome work and timing. |

I was very lucky to have access to a few prime telephoto lens.
1st pic taken using 300mm 4.0
2nd pic taken using 70-200mm 2.8
3rd pic taken using 400mm 2.8

I'm not a great fan of MotoGP, but your shots are excellent, Ching, very professional. I think the third shot is my favourite.
I see you had some tasty kit, too! :-D I'm considering a 300/4 myself at some point..

well, initially i was using the 300mm 2.8, but it was way too heavy to be handheld (monopod was occupied by another friend with the 400mm). Settled with the 300/4 coz its outdoor and i do not need a very thin DOF. Most pictures are shot at f4.0 or higher.

Biaggi, Gibernau, and Rossi. Looks like you got all the big names covered. Very cool shots. I would love to get up close to a MotoGP race.

have to dissappoint you in this though :( did not take any of the above. There were some Marlboro girls, and umbrella girls on race day only, and pit/grid pass were limited.
