Can anyone tell me how scaffolding stays in place please.

You have to train them not to move. It takes a lot of practice. Lol
I guess that Mr.Google can give you a more accurate answer.

Thanks, but Mr.Google is never able to give me a simple easy answer.
I have asked this question to many people over many years and never had a satisfactory answer.
My life will never be complete without this information. |

You mean the things they put on the outside of buildings? I just walked past one earlier and they had something that looked this. Not nearly as fun as GeorgesBogaert's suggestion :) |

I am at work and as such cannot access a variety of sites.
Google "Assembling Scaffolding" and you will find a variety of video that show you just how to do that.
I hope this helps a tad.
