has anyone bought a Nikon USA Factory Demo camera? I've been searching for the best prices on a D70 and I saw that this company on eBay that sells both brand new and factory demos for a way cheaper price compared to a new one. what would you suggest?

In most cases a Nikon USA Factory Demo is a camera that has been used as a Nikon display piece or as a "Salesman's Sample". They have never been owned by a consumer and have minimal to no use. Each camera is individually checked and tested before it is shipped to us from Nikon USA. Where some may have small marks or slight imperfections in the finish, it is important to note that the camera is in perfect, brand new operating condition and is covered by Cameta Camera's warranty for one full year on all parts and labor. What is the price and does it come with lens kit?

prices range from 500-800 with out lense and 800-1100 with lense. but remember this is eBay. who knows that the final price ends up to be.

If I were you I would consider buying here if you have a store local or you could order it over the Internet. You will get 2 good lenses with the D70 and it will only be a few bucks more than the ones on ebay and the item would be NEW. All the low price ones you see will be up to the $1100 range [with 1 lens] by the time bidding ends.

| this is Ritz cameras, right? you were right. those demo cameras ended up selling for 1100 to 1200. |
