Hi,
I am fairly new to the site but what I have seen so far has taught me allot. I recently purchased a new camera (Rebel) and would appreciate comments on this picture:

Hey Chris,
Congratulations on a 300D :-) I'm glad you like dpc.
I would add more contrast and more saturations, then I would crop it differently, and maybe align it more horizontal. Cool building ;-)

Thanks for the reply terje, I see what you mean by contrast and saturation. Just wondering suggestions you might have for cropping?

The building is on Main St. in Moncton New Brunswick, Canada (City Hall and Bank of Montreal Building) |

Maybe something like this:Suggestion of crop
Added more contrast, used channelmixer to convert to black and white, used variation to add a tint color, USM and cropped.

I do agree with the cropping, your image needs cropping. The building at the left and the sign at the top is most distracting imo.

But I would go with a panoramic crop out of this image:
Everything else is ok imo.
