Has anyone else experienced inconsistent firing on the SB-600? Another forum suggested cleaning the battery contacts but they look like new. My flash is only a couple of years old and I've tried it on both a D3200 and a D50 with the same results. Also, using the test button only works once. Please help? |

I had the sb600 it started failing as you describe it, some time later it stopped flashing, the display and all controls worked but the flash did not go off, it smell like burnt electronics, I´ve not tried sendig it to be repaired.
Also have the sb700 and it has been flawless, hope it stays like that , I really like using CLS |
