I am starting to experiment with still life photography more and am planning on doing as many as I can for the month of April. Help us learn from each other and how to take normal still life photos and take them to the next level. Who wants to play? If I have time I can try to get a special "award" for the images with the most likes, the most comments and my personal favorite.

Nice. I normally post my still lives in the Photo a Week thread. Can I double post some here?

Almost April :) I am just excited about getting that much closer to Summer. Feel free to start posting anything you want now. If you can, try to explain your lighting for the shots as well.

I almost never take pictures of flowers in a serious manner. Found this in my file, tried two different way of processing. Still struggling with the idea of shooting flowers
