I've done it 3 times and Beagleboy has done it twice. Any advance on 3? |

Shouldn't you wait for somebody else to start a 'tribute to Imagineer' thread?
Just kidding, please take it with a grain of salt!

a 7+ with no ribbon has to be hard to handle. But look at it this way, you took 3 great photos if they held a 7+. Just my 2 cents. |

Wow...I was just looking through your profile! You've had six 7's without a ribbon and two 7's with a ribbon!
Heartbreaking!

Did you forget to put a smiley face at the end of your post or did I really bug you with what I said?
If so, I'm sorry!

I've done it twice, along with a couple 6.9s. |

Tony (agwright) - it's testament to your average that you're bound to get a few unribboned 7s. You've got a healthy display on the left at least! |

Twice within a week of each other for me. Though with my recent run, I'd take unribboned 7s any day of the week. |

Tony (agwright): I've been looking thru your unribboned 7's. I think maybe f22 is a bad luck aperature for you. You even have a 7.1 that wasn't even top 10 - talk about gettin screwed!
ps ... your portfolio absolutely rules! |

I wonder then who has the lowest ranked 7+ shot? I just noticed that jjbeguin was 16th.
Mine was 9th with 7.293.

Imagineer, when are you going to upload "The Making of..." for the "feet" challenge....
I've got to see how you did the skateboard thing....I thought you just stuck the skateboard on its side...stuck a shoe there and took the pic....then in CS, blur the background..
Apparently from reading the text, you actually strapped it on and took it for a spin....how in the world did you keep the camera from shaking on a asphalt road?? I mean...not even a little bit...your shoe is tack sharp.....
Soon maybe? |

Those are awesome! The backlighting of the Coniston Water photo is gorgeous and the action of the Switch-stance is so palpable. Both are in my favorite bins. |

Yeah I will do it soon, but I won't have time for a couple of weeks.
I itook loads of shots for that - most of which had that dreaded shake you mention. This one was the only shot that worked as desired due to having just two wheels on the ground at the time which reduced the shake to virtually zero for a short while.
The blur was created during a much shorter shutter speed than it looks - just a few inches of movement.
I couldn't guarantee replicating it easily that's for sure!
Edit: thanks Flip89!

How many 7+ with no ribbon?
Believe it or not I almost got a ribbon before :P
I think I'm the only person here that has done this, that doesn't have a ribbon yet.
