Hey everyone,
I'm a new guy to this site. I was wondering if anyone knew of any free programs I could download to edit pictures I put on my computer. A link would be helpful, but any replies would be nice.
Thank you.

//graphicssoft.about.com/cs/freeimageeditpc/index.htm?terms=free+image+editing has a list of about 13 free image editing programs. Several have been used to recreate challenge winning images so they are certainly more than good enough for DPC.

//graphicssoft.about.com/cs/imageediting/tp/freephotoedw.htm?terms=free+image+editing
recommends the top 6 that they've reviewed, in the totally free editing category.

//graphicssoft.about.com/cs/imageediting/tp/budgetphotoedw.htm
lists the best ones in the 'budget' category.

//graphicssoft.about.com/cs/imageediting/tp/advphotoedw.htm are probably the best 4 editors.

Most of these links are windows biased, but if you go to the pages, there are links to Mac equivalents too.

The above are from a thread back last year but they should still be worthwhile. ACDSEE and Gimp seem to be popular free editing programs.

Almost everyone uses IrfanView at one time or another.
