Might be old news on here, but just read in the 300D forum on DPREVIEW about this free PS plugin (photoshop CS only I think).. Fantastic plugin for speeding up the workflow, with some brilliant results in seconds!!

Yes. That virtual photog one is wonderful. Just really a great program. Easy to use and astounding results. I can't say enough good stuff about it. |

How do you change it from a vpd file to a jpeg file? |

Are you asking how to get it to work as a plug in? After you unzip it, just drag everything into your plug in directory. With psp, I had to tell the program(psp) it was there and just like magic it worked like any other plug in or effect that is offered in psp. |

I have it loaded and worked on a couple of photos (sepia) just to play around with it. But after you save it, it has a .vpd extension and adobe can't open the file. |

sounds like your saving a new .vpd file and not saving the picture you have worked on. |

I have the photo open in PS then open VP from the filters menu and the correct photo is there but when I'm done working on it and hit process if I want to save as a new pic the only file option is a .vpd |

Mark,
Actually virtualPhotographer works with most Photoshop plug-in compatible editors. We have tried it in PS, PS Elements, PaintShop Pro, Photo-Paint, PhotoSuite, PhotoBrush, The Gimp to name just a few.
