Came across this in my newsfeed on FB: //lightbox.time.com/2013/02/27/photographer-as-witness-a-portrait-of-domestic-violence/#1
A jarring series of photos that made me think a little about the ethics of taking such photos (but I didn't linger here as I tend to be of the same view as the photographer on the issue) but also of the personal power and presence of mind needed to document a violent act unfolding before you. Photo #23 will break your heart.

FWIW the Congress passed a renewal/extension of the Violence Against Women Act today. |

Frisca you are absolutely right about image #23. Rather sad to think that some children grow up thinking that this is normal, acceptable behaviour.
