I just paid my 25 bucks to become a full member and now I keep hitting the update link every 6.5 seconds. I must be insane! If staring at the screen makes your score go up I'll win for sure!

Hmmm... I could have sworn that someone posted the average was 6.0 seconds... you are below average right now... GET TO CLICKING!!!! ;o)

How about 'advanced membership'?
$50/year and you don't need to click update as it does it automatically every time you get a vote, it opens a popup, sends you a text, pages you and gives you a running average with the predicted next vote :)

Welcome to the update gang Joe ;)

Activates your beeper and sends a text message to your cell phone.

A small plane with a banner flying over my house saying "6.043 is your new score, up from 6.009!!!" and writing my new comments out in smoke would be a nice addition to the site.

Personally, I'd like a wireless implant connected directly to the brain, giving us up-to-the-second updates with a mere thought.

aww yah.

hahaha.. but think about it, you wouldn't be talking to a computer all day anymore.. you'd just be talking to yourself!

(which, sadly, I do already)

Would you replace your retina with a digital sensor? If so, what would the crop factor be?

On second thought.. this might not be a good idea.. think of the abuse of privacy rate if we all had cameras in our eyes.. (or.. even scarier.. if only *SOME* of us did, and nobody knew which ones!) EEEEk.. I'm never undressing in a changeroom again!

(ps. actually, I'm a nudist, so that last bit is a lie)

Now see.. you're not thinking outside the box.. these would be micro-sensors that completely outstrip the performance of *anything* on the market today! Built by secret labs in.. say.. Sweden. They would name it.. Ikornea

Come on Laurie, you'd prefer a ouija board, perhaps? How about cutting apart live pigeons on a stone alter under one of heida's skies and messing about with entrails? What do you say, want to give it a go?
