Hey, I'm not UNhappy, LOL. I just had a moment of pure joy when I thought it was rolling back to the top after Art and coming my way :-) I mean, that'd be like some sort of bizarro Christmas in July, or something :-)

i scored myself an old ae-1 recently and i have been developing my own film at home.... i live in northern california so my options for bird and wildlife shooting with that lense just opened up immensely!
(and maybe i will FINALLY figure out layers?)

i stuffed the box good and proper with a bunch of nice crap i have had here with me for a while... i think it will be appreciated!

now, to go PM the next person on the list.... (thanks guys! this was a lot of fun :) )

You'll find a review thread for that here.

I had that lens years ago, and then Spiffy gave it a new home. Now it's in the hands of a third DPC'er, that's just too cool!

One point of caution - I think you have a FD Mount body - that's an EOS lens T-Mount adapter that is on there right now, but you can easily replace it with a FD T-Mount for just a couple of dollars.

And, of course, it'll work on your Nikon too.

Dig a littler deeper in that box, and look for something labeled C/FD. I put that in the box just especially for someone with an old FD mount body - please give it a home.

Post some pics in the old thread if you get a chance, that'd be too cool!

ok, so cory gave me the heads up on that lense, so i am buying some mounts to use it on my ae-1 and my d2x... it seems like too good of a chance to pass up still!

BUT... he also suggested that i take out a 28mm fixed he had put in there, since it would be perfect for the ae-1.... so i did, and i took a picture, and now i am just waiting for it to upload while i go and run some errands... picture soon!
