Don't worry, $100CND for the photo use is totally reasonable, just depends how badly YOU want it to be published. To buy the photo, that's another story becuase you then cant' use it anymore....that'd be around $400. Then again, if you're going to be doing major work and your business someday might just be photography than it wouldn't be unreasonable to charge more. Up to you really.
The $44 photo was probably from someone just like yourself who didn't know what to charge. |
