I am currently shooting with a Canon T2i and running a Canon 580ex flash without any siginificate issues. The problem I am having is that I cannot figure out how to set the flash to Second Curtain Sync. I have read that the 580ex requires the Master, and Wireless capabilities be disabled in order to utilize this feature which I have done (from what I can tell). No matter what I do however when I push the |>>> button that should put it into second curtain mode, it only enables/disables the high speed sync capability. I am hoping someone out there with some experience can guide me through resolving this issue. I usually shoot on Manual Mode with my camera so I don't feel that should be a problem. I have also gone through the menus on my camera, and though there is a flash menu that allows some capapbility to change the settings, most are display only (including the second curtain sync).
I'm hoping someone out there in DPChallenge can help me.

| Have you tried switching modes, with the flash off the camera. As if it does switch modes, the problem will be a camera setting. Then go from there... |
