I love food... Why not a "FOOD" topic?
Another one.... "LOOK ALIKE", I mean, people, spots,
And at last.. "Wish it where FRIDAY" topic....
What do you think? |

Adding to the list:
1. Culture: Best shot depicting your culture. 2. Light (now, don't laugh - just think about this before responding from the hip). I think there has been some shots using good light, but how about studying light to have a greater understanding. Could have some very different impact on your normal view of a subject.

Light is always good :) ... But maybe it's so generic that's why every time I've suggested it no one has responded ;) ... |

this sounds horrible, but i basically don't have a culture. Like.. just.. generic American culture I guess.. that make sense? I'm such a mix of things .. we don't do anything specific other than christmas/thanksgiving.. I seem to just adapt things from other people's cultures.
I'd be interested in seeing the photos though. I'd probably skip the challenge myself.
I like the Look Alike topic, that sounds like fun. I know the exact photo I'd take too.

maybe it could be just culture instead of 'my culture' so as not to exclude the cultureless... |

Yes. Depict A culture. I think, Jenguin, you are short changing yourself and your culture tho. There are lots of things that define American culture, or maybe traditions passed down - or ideals passed down - from one generation to the other..... Events that happen in your city/town.... :-)

I'm afraid I am my own culture as well. - But I could shoot plenty of other cultures effectively.

How about CONTOURS? This could be a nice challenge for those wanting to do something with "light". Oh I can already see all the photos of objects outlined by backlighting .... The tricky part is to make it look unique. |

This is a cool idea.. I of course immediately thought of human subject. But there are a lot of landscape and still life possibilities here as well :).
