Go, guys, go! The Harwich Port Mafia still rules the (average) waves. We count Oz as an honorary Mafioso, since he hangs out here with Nicky. Last year, Nicky and I in the finals. This year, Nicky, Oz, and PennyClick as 3 of the 4 semifinalists. Go Harwich Port! I wonder how close Paul lives to the original Harwich, in England?

We have a winner!
From 67 participants to 1 - nickyb becomes the 2012 BYOA KO Challenge Champion! The first time we've had a champion defend their title! (And with a ribbon in the final round too!)
Congratulations to ozmaster too for making it all the way to the final.
Also - thanks to all of you who competed to make this year's competition a success.
I also need to extend thanks to NiallOTuama who made it really easy for me to process the scores and make the matches.
I'm hope to see you all competing again in BYOAC KO 2013.
Cheers
Paul |

Congrats to nickyb!
To runner up ozmaster, and actually all those who even got through the first round, a hearty pat on the back! Having tried this challenge several times myself, I know it's not so easy.
A special thank to paulbtlw for giving all 67 participants this great opportunity. Looking forward to next year. |

Nothing like finishing the BYOA with a personal best and a ribbon. Nice job, Nicky. Nice job also to Oz for making the finals. You both stepped it up for the competition. Next year I propose a separate category for those not yet finished with puberty so somebody else has a chance.
Thank you, Paul for setting this up and the work required to see this through. |

Big congrats to Nicky for winning two years in a row and to Oliver for making it to the finals and the runner up position! Oliver and I were matched up in the first week's competition. Great job at winning each and every week!
Thanks Paul as well, for your time and effort to make this happen. |

The hat trick would be winning next year, for 3... It's originally a Cricket term, and was popularized by Hockey in North America in the middle of the 20th century, to signify scoring a goal in each of the 3 periods in a regulation hockey game :-)
