Adding a new lens to database - DPChallenge Forums

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-120mm f/4G ED VR

I wanted to add a new lens to the database here and I'm not sure how to do it.

Go to your home page, my preferences. That is where you can add the lens.

Thanks Heather. The problem is that the lens doesn't exist in the current list of lenses here. So it needs to be added to the database so it is then available to add to one's profile.

Click on this link then you can request for equipment additions. Help!

Go to Help-->contact us-->equipment addtion/change. This will send your message to the site council. If you can provide an image of the lens for them, it will expedite things as well.

Thanks you guys. I followed the link that Shane, Steve and LY provided. I submitted an image and the lens 'name'. Let's see how long it takes to get added.

Cool. I have that in the Nikon version. Fun lens :)

The driftwood was probably 14' tip to tip. I was standing just a couple feet from it.

I recently purchased this and I took a few shots with it today. It is indeed a 'fun lens'.

It's been 3 days since I submitted my request for the addition for a new lens. I haven't gotten any kind of reply yet...
