"Placeholder" is just the name of the folder/gallery its posted in ... I can mmove it to the Workshop folder if that's less confusing ... |
I'm pretty sure David's tongue was lodged firmly in his cheek there, Paul. And FWIW I have wasted spent an hour looking for that danged thing and gotten nowhere... |

With Davis I never seem to be sure ... :-)
Besides, if the blade would come all the way up through the slot (there's a small flange which prevents that) it would be just about the right size to fold those little placeholder cards used at a formal dinner ... |

Autopsy tool? Something for surgery? |

How sharp is the blade? Does it look as if it's designed to cut through something? |

It is pretty light-gauge stanless steel (made in China), so I think it more likely to be some kind of kitchen gadget, but I haven't figured out its exact purpose.
ETA The blade has NOT been honed/ground to a specific cutting edge.
If we're still stuck tomorrow I'll take some shots from other angles.

Say, that looks like it, though I can't exactly see how you'd use it to portion-out cookie dough ... :-(
Here are the other pictures -- from the emblem on it I thought it had to do (coincedentally enough) with eggs ... :-)

You squeeze it shut, cut off a piece of dough with the exposed blade (now the dough's stuck to the blade) and then release the squeeze (so to speak) and it pushes the dough off the blade.

Wow. I was prepared to ask "what flavor?" but Spork nailed it! Yes, it is a Chili Cheese Frito.
Disgusting thing :-P

Both of them, LOL!
My wife bought a bag, and then we found another lurking in the back of the cabinet... if she doesn't eat them, they will be there pretty much forever, since I won't touch them! If I want chili & cheese on my Fritos, dammit, I'll put real chili & cheese on there! :-)

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming...

Looks like a wedge to remove a bearing or separate pieces parts. Not a crows foot for a torque wrench. |

You are correct about what it isn't, but incorrect about what it is. |

A locking clip for a connector. The two bumps towards the end act like a spring loading lock to keep the connectors in place. |
