I thought about making a lego tank and seeing if I could get the squirrel to sit in it. :) |
so, would that have been "The LEGO Ministry of Defense was no match for Squirrelzilla"? ;p

I could have put more thought and planning into this one. I could have put in some more Lego "blocks" for the blockhead voters.

well, not to keep kicking a dead horse, but when i was a kid, i used to dismember (or at least split in two) the people and using there body parts as i) feet for new creatures build with the other bricks, ii) as hinges to make bridges, etc., iii) their heads as parts of whatever.
and IMHO, there are way too many "specialized" pieces nowadays, including the people, that take away from having to use your imagination and the pieces at hand to build new things. whereas we used to have to build a boat from the bottom up, now they have all these special hull pieces.... /end rant

Already got a 2.
I thought our we were supposed to have an entry that "uses these colorful little bricks?" I heard the interpretation from someone that the men were bricks. I just thought the men were the men and the bricks were the bricks. |
I would have to agree! I have no problem with people using people & blocks together, but people on their own?
My stats:
My Shot: 6.0556
You have rated 49 of 49 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 4.4082.
My favourite so far: [DELETED]
Sorry but im not giving high votes to people only shots! |
why? Lego is Lego there were some great Lego people only shots. it would be a shame to vote some of those people only shots low, they are technically Lego, if not the bricks. |
See, this is another case where some are taking the wording a bit seriously. If it's a Lego item (figure or brick or whatever), it counts. People need to loosen up. Anything Lego counts... | I am only marking down 1 point if the focus is not the colorful little bricks. Anything Lego is not what the challenge stated. Just so you know, the torso and legs of the figures are technically bricks. |

its all a bit sour grapes on this isn't it. I took it as anything lego, i.e anything thats sold as lego could be counted...think people need to loosen up a bit! |

It didn't affect my voting at all; I just had something else in mind.
FWIW there are some awesome and hilarious entries!

My dyslexia with words is getting really, really bad. When I first read this, I didn't see "sit" but a word with one more letter in it, and as such, it made me laugh out loud! |

Lol, had to larf at this, when I write the word 'shot' I automatically get the word you are talking about...it makes for some interesting comments if I don't spot it in time!

Just because they are toys doesn't mean you can assume your 5 year old can sit on your lap and look at the pretty blocks with you.

If my calculations are correct, you would have to average 6.55 over the next 42 votes to receive and average of 6.99 for the challenge.
You should be safe.

i had a giggle at some of the entries and so did the children. The adult theme was only implied, so if any 5 year old 'got' these images I would be very worried. |
