Most specifically Clatskanie ( for now )
I'm learning my new Nikon D90 and am having a blast!
I've been trying to upload a picture of myself to my profile page and havn't had any luck.. help please LOL

Sorry, but I won't be any help with the profile photo. I've been here 2 years and haven't gotten around to posting a profile photo yet. |

Hi Pam..welcome to DPC. Looking forward to your participation here.
For your profile photo....
On the menu bar at the top right of the page click on "My Home" then scroll down and select "My Preferences". When that page loads you will see the "User Profile" section two boxes down on the left side. Click the "Browse" bottom to the right of the photo box and you can choose a photo from your computer to upload. The file dimensions have to be 120 pixels x 90 pixels which would be a photo in the landscape orientation or 90 pixels by 120 pixels which would be in the portrait orientation. It's best to resize a photo on your computer and/or crop to that size.

ok, I've a photo 90x 120 pixels, 72 res but it still keeps kicking it out ... I don't even know what questions to ask lol.
